Lights, Cocoa, and Holiday Cheer: Our Upcoming Toy Drive Night

Klaus Family · November 30, 2025

Every year, one of my favorite parts of the holiday season is watching our little corner of Yuba City light up—not just with decorations, but with people coming together to create something warm and joyful. This year, we’re excited to host a special Christmas Toy Drive Night right here on Birmington Drive on Saturday, December 6th, and I’d love to share a bit more about what the evening will look like and why it means so much.

A Tradition, Growing Every Year

What started as a simple holiday lights display has quickly grown into something that feels like a tradition—a place for families to walk up with kids in pajamas, neighbors to stop by with mugs in hand, and strangers who become familiar faces year after year.

This December, we’re adding something new to the experience:
We’ll be collecting unwrapped toys on behalf of So You Can, a local organization doing incredible work to support kids and families in our community.

Whether you bring a toy or not, you’re welcome just the same.
The donation is optional—the light show and hot cocoa are free, and they always will be.

What to Expect on December 6th

We’ll have the full light show running, synchronized as always to music. It’s one of my favorite sequences we’ve ever put together—color, motion, and a few surprises that I can’t wait for everyone to see.

Alongside the lights, we’ll have free hot cocoa (while supplies last), perfect for warming hands on a chilly night. If you’ve been here in past years, you know: the cocoa line moves fast, the lights glow bright, and there’s a shared buzz of holiday excitement in the air.

Families, friends, neighbors… everyone’s welcome.

Why Partner With So You Can?

One of the most meaningful parts of hosting this show is getting to see joy ripple outward. Partnering with So You Can felt like a natural extension of that—helping bring the holidays a little closer to families who could use a bit of extra support this season.

If you choose to donate a toy, know that it’s going directly to kids in our own community. But again: this is about togetherness, not obligation. Come for the lights. Come for the cocoa. Come for the atmosphere. The spirit of the season is more than enough.

Come Celebrate With Us

We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, December 6th for an evening filled with sparkle, warmth, and community. This display is something we build for the joy of it—but it’s the people who stop by, smile, take photos, and share the moment that make it truly special.

Lights, cocoa, and holiday cheer await.
We hope to see you on Birmington Drive!

If you’d like updates, behind-the-scenes photos, or reminders about future events, you can follow us on our social media channels — and if you’re local, feel free to bring friends and neighbors along. The more, the merrier.

Happy holidays from the Klaus Family Lights crew ✨🎄
